Jim Irwin's Best Wisconsin CallsJan 26, 2012 Wisconsin radio broadcaster Jim Irwin was known for his long tenure as the radio voice of the Green Bay Packers, but the legendary voice also called some great moments for the Cardinal and White. Here's a pair of great memories with Jim on the call. First is Wisconsin topping Magic Johnson's Michigan State squad with a last second heave in 1979, and then the Badgers knocking off the top-ranked Michigan Wolverines at Camp Randall in 1981.

I substitiuted "touchdown" for "a score is sure this time" for that reason-they are cream of the crop in ice hockey. The "U-Rah-Rah!" does not have to be expressed because it was recently added to the lyrics. Go ahead and comment everyone, but do it as if you are mature- I know how Badger fans are in Madison, but here, I make my rules....

Keith Nichol caught a 44-yard pass from Kirk Cousins on the game's final play for a tiebreaking touchdown, giving the Spartans (No. 16 BCS, No. 15 AP) a 37-31 victory against Wisconsin (No. 6, No. 4) on Saturday night. With four seconds left, Cousins rolled out to his right and threw it about as far as he could. The ball went into the end zone but caromed off Michigan State receiver BJ Cunningham's facemask back to Nichol, who caught it just outside the end zone and struggled for the goal line, fighting two Wisconsin defenders and just barely breaking the plane. The former backup quarterback was initially ruled short of the end zone, but officials overturned the call after a review, giving the Spartans (6-1, 3-0 Big Ten) the win and knocking the Badgers (6-1, 2-1) from the ranks of the unbeaten.
